Raw Cacao Bombs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 8 drops of pure stevia extract
  • 6 TBS coconut oil
  • 2 TBS coconut butter
  • 3 TBS cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  • In a food processor blend the coconut sugar until it resembles a fine powder.
  • Place a bowl over boiling water on the stove top on low heat.
  • Add in coconut sugar, coconut oil, cacao butter and cacao powder and stir until melted.
  • Remove from heat, spoon mixture out and form into balls, about the size of a golf balls.
  • Roll in desiccated coconut until covered.
  • Place in the refrigerator to set.

 

Matcha Green Tea & Coconut Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of full-fat coconut milk 
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2-3 tbsp of Freedom Superfoods matcha green tea powder
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum

Method:

  • Place the coconut milk, almond milk, matcha and honey in a blender and blend until well combined. Add xanthan gum and blend more.
  • Transfer to a mixing bowl and let chill for approximately 2 hours. Pour into a ice cream maker and aerate according to the instructions.
  • No ice cream maker? pour mixture into a container, freeze, take out after one hour and whisk, repeat until you get desired texture.
  • Transfer it to a freezer-safe container and let harden for 4 hours.
  • Best if set out 20-30 minutes before serving to allow to soften.

Matcha Green Tea Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 a tsp of Freedom Superfoods Premium Matcha Green Tea Powder
  • ounces of hot water (not boiling)
  • 3 drops of pure stevia extract
  • 1/2 a cup of milk or almond milk
  • ice cubes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  • Mix 1/2 tsp green tea powder in 2 ounces of hot water into a bowl. Stir with a whisk until completely dissolved.
  • Stir in 3 drops of pure stevia extract (can adjust to taste).
  • Add milk or almond milk, vanilla extract and stir well.
  • Add ice cubes and blend in a blender until smooth.
  • Optional add fresh whipped cream on top

 

Cacao & Banana Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe, frozen, sliced bananas.
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or other milk)
  • 2 tbsp of Freedom Superfoods Raw Cacao Powder
  • 3 drops of pure stevia extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chia Seeds

Method:

  • Allow the frozen banana slices sit out of freezer for several minutes before easier blending.
  • Blend the banana, milk until the mixture becomes creamy.
  • Add the cacao powder and stevia extract and blend well.
  • Transfer into a regular bowl.
  • Sprinkle with chia seeds and your favorite toppings.
